It should be pretty obvious what this website is. It's a place for escorts to advertise their services to prospective clients, and generally catering to the Australian domestic market.

Given enough interest and financial support, it might grow into an online social network where people can chat and find useful information and shop and so on, but don't count on that just yet.

So, why is this yet another Australian escorts website? Good question.

Well, I feel that there isn't a single great website catering to the local national market. Sure, there are a couple of decent sites, but nothing really great (in my subjective opinion, of course).

From talking to some people in the industry, it seemed like every other site suffered from one of the following:

• International or overseas based (so Australia was too small for them)
• Ugly looking or difficult to use (Ugh! Yuck!)
• Arrogant or unprofessional conduct (If you're going to run a business, run it properly, dammit!)
• Required registration to view details (What a dumb idea!)
• Couldn't put up photos (Understandable in some cases, but not exactly helpful)

So I thought it would be helpful if a site existed which actually didn't have any of these shortcomings and was easy to use as well. After a series of many exchanges with my web designer (and a few false starts), this site, Australian Escorts .org, is the result.

It's actually the third redesign, too. The previous two weren't all that useful, in honesty. So hopefully, by learning from past efforts, this is the third time lucky.

I sincerely hope this site provides a useful service to the escorts of Australia and, of course, to their clients as well (whom we must not forget).

If all goes well, this site will grow and the funds will allow me to add more features and be even more useful. If not, I'll just leave it up as a voluntary contribution to help the ladies who have dared to venture out on their own. They deserve all the support we can give them.
